Arggg....Hey this looks great!! I can't wait to start working on this one ;) Is there a Capn Ray in the story?...he could dwell in a pirate fort...just an idea
Totally random, I know, but I've stumbled upon a treasure trove of artist blogs, and I have to say I'm so excited to get to see all this visual development! That pirate is the coolest pirate since Peter Pan. I was also looking at the screen shots from the film, and I have to say I really love all the design work! I'll have to pick up a copy of the film.
Tanith, thanks for the support! Hey, we were just looking at your Seasons girls and thought you might get a kick out of our friend Lauren Faust's site http://milkywayandthegalaxygirls.com/ Good luck with your art. Keep on truckin'!
Thanks Jun. Since you guys didn't get to finish "TP2" Yarrow hasn't gotten pirates out of his system! Arg!
It's a deal! But with the coming inflation, you think you could throw in a 3% peanut raise next year? Even if it's just a smidgen of peanut oil with some peanut skins...that will do. :)
Hi guys MC and Jeff in the house. Just wanted to say we miss you and wonder how you are doing. Maybe we can discuss in person some time (what a concept!)
Yo Ranjos! We're holdin' down the fort in Valencia, making sure Wanna Iguana stays in business during your absence. Of course, it's looking like you might not come back...
Would be great to catch up. Hey, are you guys going to the Producer's Show? We'll look for your sweet, smilin' faces! Later gators.
Big hug, little kiss...
Hi Dag, thanks for the happy message. You just put smiles on our faces!
Carrie & Yarrow -- was telling a friend about your work and googled to send him a link, and presto, found your blog. How awesome!! As usual, I adore the artwork :) Talk to you guys soon, Maija.

This is awesome!!! Maybe I'll actually get to animate this time. ;)Really fun stuff, Y & C!!!
Beautiful texture work on these characters Yarrow.
Rich yet subtil. Nice.
Cheers.
OOOoooohhhhh...Pretty! What's the project? Do you have any ukulele-playing pirates? Pirates were BIG on ukulele y'know.
Hi guys, I've been lazy about writing back for a while. Sorry 'bout that. Thanks for the comments.
Capn' Ray - I love the pirate fort idea! Maybe we could outfit it with a Maya station for authenticity's sake!
Bryan - That sounds great, you're hired! How does 20 peanuts a week sound?
Luc - Thanks man! I've had a good time tying paintings down a little more than I usually do. Pirates have so many fun details to explore.
Ernie - Of course. Everybody knows Ukuleles were designed to be strummed with a hook.
